  • We have a large variety of sessions for Foundation to KS2 including Humanities (Egyptians, Greeks) and Science (rocks and minerals, skeletons) based on the Museum handling collection and gallery displays
  • Freshwater Studies in Summer Term – NEW with Surrey Wildlife Trust
  • Science Week Events
  • We are currently developing ideas for KS3 – 5. If you are looking for a workshop to support a current topic please give us a call

Junior Club

Monthly (1st Saturday of the month) and during school holidays we have a wide range of activities based around the collections, exhibitions and seasonal and national events

Early Years
  • Structured and tailored Nursery School Visits.
  • Outreach sessions available to local nursery schools and toddler groups unable to visit the museum.
  • Fortnightly drop-in events during term time with exciting activities for the under-5s and their parents/carers.

Family events

Family drop-in events – fun packed sessions offering a wide selection of activities throughout the year, themes range from Vikings to National Children´s Art day.

Gallery quizes and trails available every day. Backpacks offer a variety of activities for children to do while visiting our galleries, available every day.

Teenage events

HYPE team – Haslemere Young People´s Exhibition Team Evening sessions from 4.30 – 6.30 pm for people in Year 7 and above working on projects that run throughout the year
Jellytree Video Arts presents a HYPE Team Film
