THE WILDLIFE OF BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO
 Known as the Galapagos of Mexico, the remote desert peninsula of Baja and the sheltered turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez have long been famed for their spectacular scenery and wildlife. Lee will guide us from the remote desert islands to pristine lagoons and deep ocean troughs. Lee has more than eight years’ experience of travelling to this beautiful corner of the world and is enthusiastic about the wildlife that lives both above and below the waves

Woodland Crafts in Lynchmere - Then & Now

 Mark works as a woodsman on the Lynchmere Commons. When not making charcoal, besoms or hay rakes, Mark teaches and demonstrates woodland and rural crafts at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum. He will talk about the woodland crafts practised locally, notably in Lynchmere, and the trees providing the craft materials. He will also describe the heathland restoration work carried out on the Commons over the last fifteen years

Andrew will tell us about one of the world’s rarest birds and its fascinating habitat on the coastline of Bermuda, and the background to the work carried out to save it. The talk also features the colourful wildlife of Bermuda, including more endemic birds, rare migrants, butterflies, reptiles, marine life and exotic flora
