The Waverley Room
This attractive gallery measures 7.2m x 5.2m with over 14 linear metres of hanging space.
2D work may be hung from a rail on adjustable metal battens or by Velcro. Extra screens may be added
to increase the hanging space to a total of nearly 28 metres. Plinths and brackets for 3D works are
available and the lawn outside the gallery may be used for exterior work.
There is ample daylight, variable spotlights and chandelier lighting. The steel window shutters
may be closed when daylight is not required and provide good security.
The Lecture Hall
This light and airy room has a high arched and beamed ceiling and a minstrel gallery. It measures
15m with a stage at one end of 5.55m. The room is flooded with natural light and is ideal for a
variety of events including seminars, lectures and other social functions. Blackout blinds can be
used. We have a range of accessories including, carousel, overhead projector, long throw projector
and a fixed screen.
Seating capacity is up to 100. The double fire exit doors lead directly onto the attractive
formal 18th century lawns featuring a Ha Ha and a wild flower meadow. Views over Lythe Hill are
a particularly attractive feature.
The Haslemere Room
Measuring 5 m by 11.8 m this is a long gallery type room this is ideal for a picture exhibition. Paintings can be screwed into the wall or hung from the picture rail. It can also be used for meetings or drinks parties.
Kitchen facilities are also available for an extra fee.
There is full disabled access to all galleries.
