The Museum's Library and Archive contains reference books, historical photographs, maps, postcards, periodicals, newspapers and a wealth of local resource material. We have experienced volunteer archivists and librarians to assist you for a small charge.

Opening hours: Tuesday 10am- 5pm. Saturday morning by appointment (PLEASE NOTE: during the month of July the Library will not be open on Saturdays). Please ring in advance for enquiries on specialist subjects. The library is manned by volunteers who occasionally cannot come in. If travelling any distance it is advisable to check with us first.
