Haslemere Educational Museum is a unique independent museum and a remarkable cultural institution, which has served its community for over 120 years. It pioneered innovative educational ideas that are still current today. Its collections and programming are exceptional for a small town museum and significance is reflected in its description as a mini British Museum.
The Museum's long survival has always been dependent upon financial support from the community and this continues to be true today.
Donations are a tremendous help. They make it possible for us to enhance and preserve the Museum and its collections and enable us to deliver a wide range of exhibitions and events to the general public.

How to Donate
The Museum will apply your donation to the area of greatest need. The easiest way to donate is via PayPal, just click on the donate button at the top of the page and follow the on screen instructions or when you are visiting the Museum is to make a donation in the Museum's Donation Box.
We welcome single gifts made by cheque (payable to Haslemere Educational Museum), debit/credit card or cash. You can also make your gift monthly, quarterly or annually by Direct Debit if you wish. This will allow the Museum to benefit from your continued support.

Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer and would like your gift to be tax effective, Gift Aid enables us to reclaim tax that you have already paid at basic rate through income tax. For every £1 you donate, we can claim an additional 28p from the Inland Revenue.
