The Volunteers' Window:
The museum is helped by a team of volunteers helping front of house (reception and shop), on the collections and in the library and archives.
In 2002 the stained glass window was designed and executed by Rachel Mulligan and dedicated to the Museum's volunteers. This beautiful piece of work was made possible by a generous donation from one of the Museums's most loyal supporters and it has been the subject of much admiration since it was unveiled. The Museum depends so much on its volunteers and it is fitting that we now have a permanent and visible reminder of their contribution.
