The Centennial Celebration of the Life and Works of Sir Archibald Geikie (1835-1924)

Come join us at Haslemere Museum in celebration of the renowned Victorian geologist Sir Archibald Geikie. This 2-day event aims to celebrate his life and work in the United Kingdom and internationally as well as highlighting his local connections here in Haslemere and the celebrated Geikie Archive now in the care of the Museum. Guests will be invited to sign up for some or all of the entire weekend programme of events, attending either in person or online.
