100 Years on the High Street

Haslemere Museum will have been on the High Street for 100 years in 2026.

The building was bought and adapted to house the Museum through public subscription and we now need to raise another sum of money to ensure it can keep going and maintain the correct standards for a Museum in the 21st century.

With support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we will be holding lots of celebration events and exhibitions and looking forward to being here for the next 100 years!

We will be asking for contributions to a community exhibition and hoping local residents and visitors from near and far will share their memories and of the Museum in a huge variety of ways. Any art form will be welcome, including the written word and poetry, paintings and drawings, sewn or knitted panels and 3D creations.
