Description:
Unbleached, coarse woven linen jacket, with red 'ticking' stripes and bands of red cotton thread interwoven with medallions in royal blue, spearmint pink and salmon. A most interesting construction. Part of back panel removed. Some dye 'bleeding'. Possibly earlier, either late nineteenth century or early twentieth century.
